11:15 – 12:00 Workshop: Tools and practices for developing open educational resources
The workshop will give an overview of tools and practices for developing open educational resources in higher education. Two alternative approaches will be presented and compared in the workshop: (1) combining simple web content management systems (WordPress, Weebly) with social media platforms and (2) using special e-learning content authoring tools (eXe Learning, Udutu, Xerte Online Toolkits).

The presentation will discuss how interaction design course could be integrated to the computer science curricula, based on the examples from Tallinn University. The presentation will cover common interaction design methods such as personas, scenario-based design, user stories, and prototyping. After the presentation there will be a practical hands-on workshop on paper prototyping.
